Types of Cannabinoids​

Flower

The flower is the raw material from which the components for the other methods of consumption are extracted. It is commonly vaporized and this is done using a device called a vaporizer. The effect begins to be felt approximately 10-15 minutes after inhalation and its duration can usually last up to 4 hours.

Edibles

Refers to cannabis-infused food or drink. These are ingested and the components of cannabis reach the blood through digestion. Therefore the effect of the product begins to be experienced approximately 30 to 45 minutes after consumption and can last up to 8 hours.

Vaporization

Vaporizing cannabis has become a trend in recent years, because it is a much gentler and healthier alternative to smoking.

Tincture

Liquid extraction is administered under the tongue with a dropper or dispenser. The effect begins to be felt 15 to 30 minutes after dosing and can last up to 8 hours.

Concentrate

A concentrate is any product made when the cannabis flower is processed, removing all parts of the plant except essential oils and cannabinoids. It is commonly vaporized.

Lotions

Cannabis-containing creams, ointments, and other ointments are administered to the skin. Its effect could be felt between 10 to 15 minutes after applying the product.
